Open to all academics, lecturers, Master/ Doctoral candidates, practitioners, and others.

All sessions will be held at the National Art Gallery Langkawi, Malaysia (organized by ASWARA). The hybrid option is also provided.

All papers will be included in International Proceeding, selected papers will be submitted to the SPIE (Scopus-indexed) and Nationally Accredited Journals (SINTA).

All artworks showcased in the exhibition will categorized as international exhibition and published in the ISBN-catalogue.

student

For Students

Open to all undergraduate students from any discipline related to innovation, media, design, and sustainability.

All sessions will be held at Universitas Multimedia Nusantara, Indonesia (organized by Multimedia Nusantara Polytechnic). The hybrid option is also provided.

The Main Theme

The Innovation in Media and Visual Design (IMDES) conference and exhibition discuss the relationship between media, people, design, and technology as well as innovation, creation, and sustainability concepts resulting from those interactions. The event’s interdisciplinary approach draws on design, information, social science, and the humanities, offering/allowing not only to think/design what today’s design makes possible but also to invent new things on media and society can do using emergent technology.
